Training Rides The pace in winter depends on the mix of riders but
is generally 'serious' on Saturday and easier on Sunday, particularly if we're
still knackered from Saturday! Most days we'll end up in a cafe near Stevenage
where we discuss the morning's events over a hot drink and large
slice of cake!
Fast Saturday Training Ride
Saturday rides last about 3 hours and cover 50 to
65 miles. The routes keep clear of the main roads where possible, taking in many
of the picturesque villages of Hertfordshire, Essex, Bedfordshire and
Buckinghamshire.
Rides generally start at 9am from the junction of Norwich Close & Ely Close in
the St Nicholas area of Stevenage.
For more information phone Steve on 01438 215339 or Dan on 01438 723701.

hours covering 40 to 50 miles at a steady pace usually ending up with a Tea Stop
at Whitwell.

and Danesgate, Stevenage Town Centre.

Summer is for racing and putting all that training to good use!
If we're not racing, the weekends follow the same format as winter.
The summer evenings provide an opportunity to get some extra miles in after
work. A phone call is all it takes to organise.
