SCC Mallorca 2023

May 6, 2023 By Walt Cahill

The Stevenage CC annual trip to Mallorca

For some of the club members this was their first time riding with the club in Mallorca and they are already looking forward to returning next year.

On most days the large SCC party which included some guest riders from the North Road Club (Hertford) divided into smaller cycling groups. Between these most of the better known destinations, routes and climbs were covered at least once including visits to a total of six different monasteries.

Some new routes, destinations and climbs were also explored. One included riding across the island to descend into Port de Valldemosa. The climb out of the port is reckoned to be one of the most understated climbs on the island and it did mot disappoint by offering great scenery and a challenging climb back up to the main town of Valldemosa.
