DRAGON RUN GRAN FONDO

Last month a group of riders from the SCC took part in the legendary Dragon Ride Gran Fondo (“The Dragon”). This event is one of the oldest, toughest, and most beautiful cyclist sportives (organized, long-distance cycling rides) in the UK.
The route travels through the challenging and scenic hills of South Wales and the Brecon Beacons National Park.
Distance: 222 km (138 miles).
Elevation: Over 3,500 m (11,500 feet) of climbing.
