Social
The social side of the club is every bit as important and the racing and training. We have several events each year that members enjoy, here are just a few highlights.
Majorca Trip
Each Spring, a number of members head over to Majorca for some riding in the sun. It’s a beautiful place to ride, smooth roads and a choice of rolling along the coast or heading up into the mountains for a bigger challenge, make it a great place for cycling. We head out each spring for a release from our winter and to get some good training in ready for the summer about to come!
Club Dinner
We have a club dinner each year to celebrate achievements for the star riders, plus have a general catch up about all things cycling and many things not! A recent highlight was the club’s 50th Anniversary dinner where we had Matt Stephens as guest speaker.
Local Events
We are proud to support local cycling events, with recent highlights being the Women’s Tour of Britain and Pro Series tours.
